Aunt Nez's Rolls
Aunt Nez'S Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 to 6 1/2 c. bread flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 tsp. salt, 2 pkg. dry yeast and 1/2 c. butter, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Combine in large bowl, 2 1/4 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add butter.
With mixer on low speed, gradually pour 2 cups hot tap water into dry ingredients.
Add egg, increase speed to medium. Beat 2 minutes.
Beat in 3/4 cup flour or enough to make stiff batter.
Beat 2 minutes with spoon.
Stir approximately 2 1/2 cups flour to make soft dough.
Turn dough onto floured surface and knead until smooth (5 minutes).
Place in large greased bowl, cover and let rise approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Punch down.
Cover tight and refrigerate.
Punch down occasionally.
