Athenian Chicken
Athenian Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts, 1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed and 3/4 tsp. dried oregano, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Place chicken in a shallow baking dish.
Add oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano and pepper.
Toss chicken with seasonings; cover and marinate, refrigerated, for at least 1/2 hour.
Grill or broil chicken 6 to 8 inches from heat source for 15 minutes, turning 2 to 3 times.
Place Feta slices on top of chicken; continue to cook for 3 to 5 minutes, until cheese softens and chicken is cooked through.
