Asparagus Casserole
Asparagus Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 15 to 20 asparagus tips (frozen may be used), 5 hard-cooked eggs, 4 tbsp. margarine, 4 tbsp. flour and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut asparagus into 1-inch lengths.
Cook until barely tender. Make a cream sauce of margarine, flour, milk and seasonings. Arrange alternate layers of asparagus, sliced cooked eggs, cream sauce and cheese in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Sprinkle with buttered crumbs.
Bake in a moderate oven, 350Β° for 30 minutes. Serves 6.
