Apricot Sauce
Apricot Sauce is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 6 minutes. Wash and cook apricots in water as directed on package.
Put the cooked apricots through a food mill, or purΓ©e them, about 3/4 cup at a time in a blender (or use a food processor).
Add sugar and salt.
Stir and cook 4 to 5 minutes over moderate heat.
Add Cognac or apricot brandy to taste.
Serve over puddings, or plain cake.
Makes approximately 1 1/2 cups sauce.
