Apple Crisp
Apple Crisp is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 c. peeled, sliced apples, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1/3 c. flour, 1 c. uncooked oatmeal and 1/2 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large saucepan, combine rhubarb, sugar, lemon juice and orange peel.
Over high heat, bring to boiling.
Reduce heat to medium-high and cook 10 minutes until mixture is reduced by 1/3, stirring often.
(Rhubarb mixture should measure 1 cup.)
Chill 15 minutes until completely cooled.
In large mixing bowl with mixer, whip cream to soft peaks.
Fold in cooled rhubarb mixture and spoon into serving glasses.
Serve immediately.
