Apple Cheesecake Pie
Apple Cheesecake Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, divided, 1 tsp. grated orange rind, divided, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg and 2/3 c. orange juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Combine 2/3 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon orange rind, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange juice and butter in large saucepan; bring to boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Add apples and simmer just until tender and translucent, about 8 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into apple mixture.
Cook, stirring, until mixture boils and thickens.
Add lemon juice.
Cool to room temperature. Spoon into baked pie shell.
Whip the cream cheese until fluffy; gradually add 1/3 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon orange rind.
Beat in egg.
Spoon over apples; top with almonds and coconut.
Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes or until golden. Chill before serving.
