Anise Kringle Rolls
Anise Kringle Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, 2 c. milk, 2/3 c. sugar, 2 eggs, slightly beaten and 1-1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Scald milk, cool to lukewarm (105 degrees), add yeast and stir to dissolve.
Add sugar, salt, butter, eggs and seeds to milk mixture.
Gradually add flour, mixing after each addition.
Use mixer with dough hook if you have one or, if not, when stiff enough, turn out on floured board and knead until smooth.
Put in greased bowl, cover and let rise until double.
Punch down and shape into rolls and let rise again.
Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes.
