Cut chocolate into small pieces.

Set aside. Cut wax into small pieces. Set aside.

In heavy 4-quart Dutch oven, combine corn syrup and brown sugar.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 300Β° on candy thermometer, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat.

Carefully stir in baking soda (mixture will foam up).

Pour at once into a greased 13 x 9-inch cake pan.

When cool, turn out of pan.

Break into pieces using wooden spoon.

Double boiler, combine chocolate chips, chocolate pieces, butter and wax.

Stir mixture until melted and smooth. Remove from heat, leaving in double boiler. Dip candy into chocolate using large cooking fork.

Place on waxed paper lined baking sheets.

Let stand until chocolate is set. Store in cool place.
