Amadama Bread
Amadama Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cornmeal, 2 tbsp. butter crisco, 1/2 c. molasses, 3 tsp. salt and 2 pkg. yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Combine cornmeal, Crisco, molasses and salt.
Pour 2 cups boiling water over mixture; let cool.
Put 2 packages yeast in 1/2 cup warm water to dissolve.
Pour over mixture and add flour until dough forms a ball.
Knead for 8 minutes.
Place in greased bowl, double in size, punch down and rise 1 more hour.
Bake for 30 minutes.
