Almond Crescents
Almond Crescents is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening (half butter), 1/3 c. sugar, 2/3 c. ground blanched almonds, 1 2/3 c. sifted flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix thoroughly the shortening, sugar and almonds.
Sift together and work in the flour and salt.
Chill the dough.
Roll with hands, pencil-thick.
Cut in 2 1/2 inch lengths.
Form into crescents on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake until set-not brown. Cool on pan.
While slightly warm, carefully dip into the confectioners sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Bake at 325 degrees for 14-16 minutes.
