All Fruit Cobbler
All Fruit Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 2 c. blueberries, raspberries or sliced peaches or strawberries, 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, 1 c. all-purpose flour and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
In a mixing bowl toss sugar together with fruit.
Put butter in an 8 x 10-inch ovenproof serving dish and place in oven to melt.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into a bowl.
Stir in milk to make a batter.
Pull hot dish of melted butter from oven and pour in bottom which will bubble around sides.
Quickly spoon fruit and juice evenly over batter.
Return to oven and bake until done and rises up around the fruit.
Bake 30 or 40 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
