Zell's Chicken Pot Pie
Zell'S Chicken Pot Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. hen, 1/2 stick butter, 1 chopped onion, 1 c. chopped celery and 1 can english peas and carrots, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Boil hen until tender.
Remove meat from bone and cut into small pieces.
Melt butter in ovenware pan.
Add onion and celery. Cook very slowly for 15 minutes.
Add can of peas and carrots; blend broth and flour.
Add broth mixture, chicken and salt and pepper to taste.
Top with biscuits and bake at 425Β° until brown. If desired, add 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper or 1 can mushrooms as onion and celery cook.
