Yum Yum Relish
Yum Yum Relish is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with gal. cabbage, gal. green tomatoes, qt. onions, qt. green peppers and gal. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Chop the cabbage, tomatoes, onions, peppers and salt down overnight.
(Cover with water and 1 cup salt.)
Drain next morning and pour boiling water over to cover.
Drain well.
Mix vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, mustard seed, ginger, cinnamon and turmeric. Mix well and add vegetables.
Boil until thickened, about 45 to 50 minutes.
Seal in jars.
