Yeast Rolls
Yeast Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. milk, scalded, 12 oz. vegetable oil, 6 tbsp. yeast (6 envelopes), 1 pt. warm milk and 4 oz. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In 1 quart scalded milk, put oil and sugar.
Let cool to lukewarm.
In pint of warm milk, put yeast; let dissolve without stirring.
When first mixture is cool, add yeast and milk to it.
Add enough flour to make soft dough; cover and let rise at room temperature until it doubles in bulk (about 2 hours).
Knead, roll, cut, stretch, dip in melted butter.
Fold over and butter tops.
Let rise for 2 hours again; bake at 450Β° until brown.
Makes about 100.
