Yankee Pot Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (14 lb.) beef roast, 3 tbsp. salad oil, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato, 4 medium carrots, diced and 4 stalks celery, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

About 4 hours before serving, in Dutch oven over medium heat, in hot salad oil, brown the meat well on all sides.
Add remaining ingredients with 1 1/2 cups water and heat until boiling.
