Winter Squash Quiche
Winter Squash Quiche is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) pastry shell, 4 slices bacon, 2 tbsp. chopped onion, 1 c. shredded swiss cheese and 3 beaten eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Bake pastry and keep it warm.
In small skillet, cook the bacon until crisp.
Drain bacon on paper toweling.
Finely crumble and set aside.
Reserve 1 tablespoon bacon drippings.
Cook onion in drippings until tender.
Sprinkle cheese, bacon and onion in the warm pastry shell.
In a bowl, combine the eggs, milk, squash, salt, nutmeg and pepper; pour into pastry shell.
Bake in a 325Β° oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes.
Garnish.
