Rinse rice with cold water; drain.
Cook rice in chicken broth until tender.
Saute celery, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, carrot and garlic in butter until tender.
Add flour and cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add broth, rice, salt, pepper, curry and pimento.
