Wild Rice Casserole
Wild Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. wild rice, 1/2 c. long grain rice, 2 tsp. chives, 1 small onion, chopped and 1 green pepper, cut fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix rice, pepper, chives, onion, mushrooms, chestnuts, salt and pepper.
Add melted margarine and marinate for 1 hour (overnight is okay).
Add broth and bake for 1 hour at 300° to 350°.
Add slivered almonds for the last 20 to 30 minutes.
