White Chocolate Cookies
White Chocolate Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. shortening, 3/4 c. white sugar, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In a large mixing bowl, cream margarine and shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add egg and mix well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; add to creamed mixture. Blend in vanilla.
Stir in chocolate and nuts.
Cover and chill dough for 1 hour.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly brown.
Let stand for a few minutes before removing cookies to a wire rack to cool.
Yields about 2 1/2 dozen.
