White Bread
White Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 pkg. dry yeast or 1 yeast cake, 1/2 c. warm water, 1/2 c. sugar, 4 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Sprinkle yeast into warm water; stir until dissolved.
Combine sugar, salt, water and shortening.
Stir in 8 cups flour.
Add yeast and enough (8 to 10 cups) of flour to make stiff dough that leaves the bowl when stirred.
Knead for 5 to 10 minutes until smooth.
Place in greased bowl; cover and let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours.
Knead dough back and allow to rise again. When dough has doubled, bake at 400Β° for 30 to 35 minutes.
Makes around 4 loaves.
