Vuyna's Czechoslovakian Cookies
Vuyna'S Czechoslovakian Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. butter (not margarine), 2 c. sugar, 4 egg yolks, 4 c. flour and 1 c. strawberry jam, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter until soft.
Gradually add sugar, creaming until light and fluffy, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Add egg yolks and blend well, about 10 minutes.
Gradually add flour and mix thoroughly. Fold in nuts.
Spoon half the batter into buttered 13 x 9-inch pan; spread evenly.
Top with jam; spread evenly.
Cover with remaining cookie dough.
Bake in slow oven at 325Β° for 1 hour or until lightly browned.
Cool and cut into 1 x 2-inch bars.
