Very Moist Gingerbread
Very Moist Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine or butter, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, beaten, 3 c. all-purpose flour and 3/4 c. molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream the butter. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, molasses and buttermilk.
Combine flour, spices and salt. Dissolve soda in boiling water.
Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with soda water, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Beat well.
Pour batter into greased baking pan and bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve while warm.
Serve with Cool Whip topping.
