Melt butter in bottom of a greased loaf pan or casserole.
Sprinkle with brown sugar.
Stud pineapple slices with whole cloves and arrange on top of sugar.
Combine ham and remaining ingredients.
Pack mixture in pan on top of pineapple.
Bake, covered, in moderate oven at 375Β° about 30 minutes.
Turn out upside down on a hot platter.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
