Uncooked Fudge
Uncooked Fudge is an easy dinner. Made with 1 egg, 1 lb. box confectioners sugar, 2 tbsp. cream and 4 sq. bitter chocolate, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler over boiling water. While it is melting, beat the egg in a big bowl; add the cream. Stir 1 cup of sugar slowly into the egg and cream.
Stir in the rest of the sugar a little at a time.
When the chocolate is melted, add mixture in the bowl.
Stir it all together until it's smooth, then pour it in a buttered cake pan.
Let the fudge harden, then cut into squares.
