Un-Stuffed Cabbage
Un-Stuffed Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. extra lean ground round beef or may use turkey, 3/4 c. uncooked, parboiled brown rice, 1 onion, finely chopped, 2 beaten egg whites and 1/2 c. raisins (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Spray or grease a 13 x 9-inch pan or baking dish.
Mix together meat, rice, onion, egg whites and raisins.
In another bowl, beat together ginger ale, catsup, tomato sauce and honey.
Place 5 or 6 cups chopped cabbage in baking dish.
Spread meat mixture evenly over cabbage.
Sprinkle remaining cabbage over this.
Pour sauce mixture over all.
Bake, covered, in 350Β° oven for 1 1/2 hours until all ingredients are tender.
