Tutti-Frutti Pudding Cake

Drain fruit cocktail; reserve 1/2 cup liquid. Combine next 4 ingredients.
Beat egg until thick and lemon colored.
Add drained fruit cocktail and 1/2 cup reserved liquid.
Stir in flour mixture. Turn into an 8-inch greased and floured pan. Combine nuts and brown sugar.
Mix well and sprinkle over top.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 to 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Serve warm with whipped cream or other topping.
