Turnip Greens
Turnip Greens is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh turnip greens, 5 slices bacon, 4 c. water, 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Wash greens thoroughly.
Drain.
Tear into bite size pieces. Combine greens, bacon and water in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
Add vinegar, pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Cover and cook an additional hour.
Remove bacon slices before serving.
