Turnip Casserole
Turnip Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. white turnips, peeled and diced, 1 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. half and half, 1/8 c. sugar and 1/2 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Put prepared turnips in a pot with water to cover and the salt.
Cook until well done, about 1/2 hour.
Drain well.
Mash. Add milk, sugar and butter; continue mixing.
Pour into buttered, oven-proof casserole.
Top with cracker crumbs.
Bake at 300Β° for 45 minutes or until browned on top.
