Turkey Roll
Turkey Roll is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. margarine, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 1/4 c. finely chopped celery, 1 tbsp. flour and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a 10-inch skillet over low heat, melt the margarine; add onion and celery.
Cook, stirring often until onion is golden. Stir in flour; add 1/2 cup milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
Remove from heat and add salt, turkey and Accent.
Set aside to cool while preparing dough.
In a small bowl, mix together the biscuit mix and poultry seasoning; add the 2/3 cup milk and mix to form a dough.
Roll to a 10-inch square.
Spread with the turkey mixture and roll up tightly; place seam down on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Brush top with extra milk and bake at 400Β° for 35 minutes.
