Turkey Pie
Turkey Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cut up turkey, cooked, 1 (4 1/2 oz.) jar sliced mushrooms (optional), 1/2 c. sliced green onions, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. shredded swiss cheese (about 4 oz.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Lightly grease a 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle turkey, mushrooms, onions, salt and cheese in a pie plate.
Beat remaining ingredients until smooth, 15 seconds in a blender on high speed or 1 minute with a hand beater.
Pour into a pie plate.
Bake until golden brown and a knife inserted comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Refrigerate any remaining pie.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
