Turkey Chop Suey
Turkey Chop Suey is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sliced onions, 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, 2 c. chopped turkey, cooked, 2 c. chicken broth and 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and thinly sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In saucepan, cook onions in butter until tender, but not brown. Add turkey, broth, celery and water chestnuts.
Heat to boiling.
Combine water, soy sauce and cornstarch.
Stir into turkey mixture. Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
Add bean sprouts and heat through. Serve on hot rice.
Sprinkle with roasted almonds.
If desired, pass additional soy sauce.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
