Tuna in Sherry Sauce
Tuna In Sherry Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. canned tuna fish, 1/2 c. mushrooms, 4 tbsp. butter, 1 1/2 tbsp. flour and 1 c. thin cream or top milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place top chafing pan direct on heat.
Melt butter in pan. Slowly stir in flour until smooth.
Add cream gradually and season with salt.
Stir slowly until mixture reaches boiling point.
Add tuna, mushrooms and pimentos.
Heat and stir slowly to the boiling point.
Add egg and wine.
Stir slightly and serve at once on buttered toast.
