Tony's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Tony'S Chocolate Chip Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. butter flavor crisco, 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp. milk, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Heat oven to 375Β°. Combine shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl; beat at medium speed until well blended. Add egg and mix. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Mix in cream mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by tablespoon on baking sheet 3 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crispy cookies. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet. Remove to newspaper to cool completely, then have some milk and warm cookies.
