Toffee
Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 35 saltine crackers, 2 sticks butter, 1 c. dark brown sugar, packed and 1 1/2 (12 oz.) bags milk chocolate chips (not semi-sweet), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350°. Line 10 x 15-inch jellyroll pan with aluminum foil.
Place saltines (7 down, 5 across) in pan.
Combine brown sugar and butter and melt and cook on top of stove. (If doing in the microwave, can be very tricky...needs to melt and cook a few minutes.) Stir thoroughly and pour over crackers.
Bake at 350° for 15 to 16 minutes.
Remove from oven and cover with chocolate chips.
When chips melt, smooth over with spatula and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
Chill for 1 hour.
Break into bite size pieces.
Refrigerate in tin.
