Toffee
Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter (1 stick), 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and 6 oz. chocolate chips (or less), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Spread 2/3 of chopped nuts in a 9 x 12-inch area on Teflon cookie sheet.
Melt butter in saucepan (1 or 1 1/2-quart) on medium-high heat.
Add sugars.
Stir while cooking to 300Β°. (Watch for two or three puffs of smoke that indicate sugar is beginning to scorch.)
Remove from heat and pour over the nuts on the sheet, carefully, to cover as much as possible.
Quickly sprinkle chocolate chips on hot candy to melt.
Spread chocolate. Sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
Break into pieces.
