Three-Bean Casserole
Three-Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. dry red kidney beans, 1 c. dry pea (navy) beans, 1 c. dry baby lima beans, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sliced bacon, diced and 1 c. chopped onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. To prepare in slow cooker
Rinse beans in cold water; discard any shriveled beans.
In 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker, cover beans with 6 cups water; let stand at least 12 hours.
Add bacon and remaining ingredients to beans in slow cooker.
Cover; cook on "low" for 12 hours.
Makes 6 servings.
