The Best Peach Kuchen is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. peaches, peeled, halved and pitted, 1 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In large bowl, combine flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and baking powder.
Cut in butter until mealy.
(If using food processor, use metal chopping or plastic mixing blade.
Do not overmix; add butter in pieces and process for 1 to 2 minutes until crumbly.)
Remove 1/3 flour mixture to small bowl.
Put remaining mixture over bottom and halfway up sides of 10-[inch quiche pan or 9-inch square pan, making a crust.
