Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 tsp. soda, 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 lb. soft butter or oleo, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Combine in large mixing bowl butter, sugar, eggs and flavoring.
Cream for 2 minutes with mixer.
Add milk, then flour mixture gradually, beating until blended (about 3 minutes).
Preheat oven to 375Β°. Roll dough on slightly floured surface 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick; cut. Bake about 12 minutes.
