Tamale Pie is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 c. green peppers, 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce and 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cook beef, onion and peppers in large skillet until meat is browned and vegetables are tender.

Stir in tomato sauce, corn, olives, garlic, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, chili powder and pepper. Simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until thick.

Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.

Sprinkle with 6 ounces of Cheddar cheese.
