Taiwanese Special
Taiwanese Special is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. oil, 1 lb. uncooked pork (in pieces), 2 c. onions, chopped, 3 tbsp. soy sauce and 1/2 large head cabbage, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Heat pan; add oil and pork.
Fry until done.
Add onions. Saute; add cabbage and toss.
Add sugar, ginger and peppers. Add salt if necessary.
Heat thoroughly and serve at once with rice, boiled noodles or crisp noodles.
Vegetables should be crunchy; do not overcook.
If liquid forms, thicken it with 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water.
