Swissed Steak
Swissed Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. (approximately) round steak, cut in serving-size pieces, 2 or 3 tbsp. cooking oil, flour, salt and pepper to taste and 2 medium onions, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oil in frying pan.
Dredge steak in flour seasoned with salt pepper. Brown meat on both sides.
Add onion slices and pepper strips. Pour tomato sauce over all.
Reduce heat to simmer for approximately until meat is tender and vegetables are cooked.
Makes 4 to 6 servings.
