Swiss-Gruyere Fondue
Swiss-Gruyere Fondue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. gruyere cheese, shredded, 2 c. swiss cheese, shredded, 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1/2 tsp. dry mustard and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Toss together cheeses, flour, mustard and garlic powder.
In a 2-quart microwave-safe casserole, microcook the wine, Worcestershire sauce and 1/4 cup water, uncovered, on 100% power (High) 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until hot.
Add cheese mixture to hot liquid.
Microcook, uncovered, on 50% power (Medium) for 8 to 9 minutes, or until cheese is melted, stirring every 2 minutes. Serve with bread cubes.
Reheat as necessary in the casserole on 50% power (Medium) for 3 minutes.
