Sweet-Sour Turkey Breast
Sweet-Sour Turkey Breast is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. turkey breast, cubed, soy sauce, 1/2 tsp. ginger, 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (accent, if desired), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Put turkey breast into small bowl.
Add soy sauce to moisten, ginger, cornstarch and m.s.g.
Marinate about 1/2 hour.
Brown turkey in a little oil.
Remove from pan.
Spoon off excess oil. Into pan, add brown sugar, vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, juice from pineapple and ginger root.
Bring to boil.
Turn down heat and simmer a minute or so.
Add cornstarch which has been dissolved in a little cold water.
Add sliced green pepper, carrots and browned meat.
Cook a couple of minutes.
Add pineapple chunks and heat through.
Garnish with chopped green onions.
Serve over rice.
