Sweet-Sour Sauce
Sweet-Sour Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. chili powder, 2/3 c. water and 3 tbsp. catsup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In 1-quart saucepan with spoon, stir sugar, cornstarch and chili powder until well mixed; stir in water, catsup and cider vinegar until smooth.
Over medium-high heat, cook until mixture is thickened and boils, stirring constantly.
Cook 1 minute longer, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat; stir in chopped sweet pickle or pickle relish.
