Brown chicken wings in a single layer in shortening in electric skillet set at 300°.
Remove as they brown; drain drippings.
Add vinegar, sugar, pineapple juice, catsup, soy sauce, mustard and salt.
Bring to a boil at 250° for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add chicken wings.
Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
Turn wings over and cook, uncovered, for 15 minutes more.
