Sweet Potato Biscuits
Sweet Potato Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cooked, mashed sweet potatoes, 2 tbsp. butter, softened, 3 tbsp. shortening, 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl, except flour; mix well. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.
Dough will be softer than regular dough.
Turn out on floured surface, knead lightly a few times.
Roll to 1/4 inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350Β° about 15 minutes.
Makes 17 biscuits.
Use only 1/4 cup sugar if potatoes are naturally sweet and juicy.
