Sweet Pickles
Sweet Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. sliced cucumbers (1/4 inch thick), 3 c. house lime, 2 gal. water, 5 lb. sugar and 3 pt. vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Dissolve lime in water, pour in sliced cucumbers, let stand 24 hours.
In clean water.
Let cucumbers stand in water for 3 hours.
Change water every hour.
Rinse and drain well, make a syrup sugar, vinegar and spices; bring to boil and cool. Put cucumbers in syrup, let stand overnight. Next day, heat and come bubbling point.
Don't boil. Seal in hot jars.
