Sweet and Sour Cabbage
Sweet And Sour Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, 3 tbsp. margarine, 3 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. vinegar and 1 tbsp. grape or currant jelly, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt the margarine in a large heavy saucepan, similar to a Dutch oven.
Add sugar and vinegar into the saucepan.
Add a small amount of water.
Add cabbage; simmer until very tender.
Stir in jelly just before serving.
If desired, more jelly can be added and also red food coloring.
This cabbage freezes very well.
