Sweet Almond Chicken
Sweet Almond Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 chicken breast halves, 2 tsp. butter, melted, 1/2 c. red currant jelly, 1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Place chicken in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Drizzle with melted butter.
Combine jelly and next 5 ingredients in a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until jelly dissolves, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Let cool slightly.
Stir in almonds.
Pour half of jelly mixture over chicken.
Cover and bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes.
Uncover and bake 5 additional minutes or until done.
Baste with remains of jelly. Broil chicken 4 inches from heat.
