Sunday Brunch Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices day old bread, 3 to 4 tbsp. butter, 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese, 1 lb. bulk pork sausage, cooked and 1/2 medium sweet red pepper, cut thin strips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Butter bread, cube and place in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle cheese, sausage, red pepper and onions over bread. In a bowl, beat eggs.
Add milk, soup, mustard and pepper.
Pour over bread mixture; cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake, uncovered, at 300Β° for 1 hour.
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
